The wind came up so fast it nearly blew us off our bikes. I yelled over to Bones as loud as I could, "What's going on?!" I thought I was going to wiz my pants I was so scared. Bones was protecting himself from the debris that was flying up at us, but Stevie was completely relaxed on the back of Bones' bike. He was just hanging out, looking like this sort of thing happened every day.
Within a few seconds, a Black Hawk helicopter was facing us with two guys dressed all in black wearing shiny, tinted helmets and hanging out the side doors as they got closer to the ground. With all the noise, we didn't notice the black SUV that had come up behind us. Two guys dressed in black suits and wearing sunglasses jumped out from the vehicle.
The Suits approached the Basket Barge—one stood back and pointed some kind of Star Wars light beam while the other approached Stevie and Bones. Bones put his hands straight up in the air like he was under arrest and, even though nobody was looking my way, I put my hands up, too. That was when I noticed Stevie slip something into Bones' pocket.
Stevie calmly got off the back of Bones' bike, almost like he knew these guys were coming for him. The second Suit grabbed Stevie and quickly escorted him into one of the Black Hawks, and then they sprinted back to their vehicle. The SUVs peeled back and sped out as the Black Hawk lifted off with Stevie.
Almost as quickly as they had come, they were gone.
