Chief pulled a contraption out of his pocket, snapped his wrist, and it lit up. “Stevie Ch-Ching, as you call him, is safe. Once we return the Ching to the LightYear lab, he and the entire engineering team will be released.”

He pointed the thing at the chest in front of the couch and snapped his wrist again and some kind of light beam came out of it. Then, with one quick move, he sliced the chest in half.

“So please, surrender it to us now,” he said calmly.

“That thing is so cool!” Bones said, clearly not grasping why the Chief had shown us that he had a weapon that could cut through a metal chest. Bones added, “But I don’t think Yogi is going to be very happy about his furniture being sawed in half by your laser beam.”

The short, fat Suit named Joe was looking at the now, halved chest as if something like that happened every day. “Who’s Yogi?” he said.

“I am.” We all spun around. Yogi was back.
