I sprinted through the pool area and opened the back fence. I looked down and screamed to him, barely being able to hear myself over the pounding rain.

“Bones! Where are you?! Bones!” He didn’t answer, and I couldn’t see him anywhere. Then out of nowhere, Sasquatch’s muddy skeleton was standing next to me.

I screamed. “AHHHHHHH!!!”

“Hey, Lump!” I hadn’t seen him come up behind me. He had climbed back up the hill and was covered in mud from head to toe. But he didn’t seem to mind.

He pointed down the hill with a big smile, “That was awesome! Give it a try!”

Bones slid back down the hill again, yelling like his hair was on fire the whole way down. “AHHHHhhhhhhhhh!!!” His voice trailed off as he zoomed down the hill.

I wasn’t going to let him have all the fun, so I hopped on my butt and screamed the whole way down, too. We did three runs each. When we got back to the garage, we looked like we had just come out of a mud bath at one of Estelle’s spas.

So you’d think Estelle wouldn’t be shocked by our appearance, but when she opened up the garage door, she screamed bloody murder. “Oh my God!!! Oh my God!!! What happened?!”
